Unlike membrane or poppet valve technologies, balanced spool solenoid valves provide more stable and consistent switching, even under demanding operating conditions. Their design minimizes internal friction and reduces wear, helping maintain consistent performance throughout the valve's service life.

On MAC Valves EMA cartridge valves, this technology is combined with a Viton® monoblock spool featuring a self-cleaning wiping action. With every switching cycle, the spool movement helps prevent the buildup of particles and contaminants that could impair valve operation.
